lauren and sam got married last week. it was amazing. they were surrounded by their closest friends and family, sam’s dad officiated the ceremony and lauren made most of her dress. when i walked into the room, i fully understood lauren and sam — their wedding was totally them, totally about their marriage and totally inspiring. i just wanted to get a few images on the blog while i play catch up. congratulations, you two! hope you’re having a wonderful honeymoon. oxo
2012 is bringing many changes… a new home, new work environment, new clients, new husband (in march), new challenges, new opportunities, new life. last week two of my very best friends welcomed a new little life into this world, andrew. a newborn baby really puts things in perspective. i look back on 2011 and i see growth, learning, struggle, surprise and improvement – for that, i am very grateful. i am looking forward to 2012 as a year of new beginnings and big changes. here’s to 2012 and all of the newness it holds! oxo
i have so many other images that need posting, but i just had to get a few of these cute kids on here! my parents live across the street from this sweet little family of 4 (almost 5!) and i love going over there and snapping s few photos when they are out playing. my mom taught blake when he was in high school, so we’ve known these guys a long time. it’s so fun to see their family grow! oxo
all i have to say about this sweet girl is that she grew up way too fast and i cannot believe how absolutely beautiful she is (although, i’m not surprised!). what a wonderfully sweet young lady – so glad i got to spend some time with her! oxo
a lot has happened in the last 24 hours – i officially moved into our house in midland, it snowed 5 inches, roy experienced his first of many days spent with me in my office and he turned two! hope everyone is staying warm. oxo
also, you should know the only reason roy is sitting nicely and looking up in this photo is because i’m holding that branch in one hand, my camera in the other.happy second birthday, leeroy!
